The TEAM Mobile Feline Unit is a project of the Vernon A. Tait All-Animal Adoption, Preservation and Rescue Fund, Inc., a nonprofit charity headquartered in Westbrook, CT.
Informally known as Tait’s Every Animal Matters, or TEAM, our goal is to develop programs and services to help needy animals and the people who care for them.
The TEAM Mobile Feline Unit, Connecticut’s first and only mobile spay/neuter and vaccination clinic for cats, was launched on March 1, 1997 to end feline overpopulation by making these crucial services affordable and accessible to state residents.
TEAM travels to more than 30 communities statewide. We charge $135 for spay or neuter. In addition to surgery, this fee includes vaccinations (rabies, distemper, upper/lower respiratory infection), nail trim and ear mite treatment (if needed).
Any Connecticut cat, domestic or feral, is welcome aboard the mobile clinic. For more information or an appointment, please call 1-888-FOR-TEAM (888-367-8326) or go to Mobile Spay/Neuter.
TEAM is determined to find solutions to problems that affect the health and well-being of all animals. Future projects may address overpopulation in other species, as well as issues of public policy and education.
