Tait’s Every Animal Matters – aka TEAM– was established in 1996 thanks to a bequest from the estate of Connecticut businessman and animal lover Vernon A. Tait.  Mr. Tait’s gift helped launch the TEAM Mobile Feline Spay/Neuter Clinic in 1997 and, ever since, we have relied on the generous support of many individuals and businesses statewide to keep the clinic rolling.  Here are some ways you can help us help cats in need:

A Gift by Check or Credit Card:

Making a monetary gift, in any amount, by check or credit card is simple and very much appreciated! Checks can be made payable to TEAM and mailed to P.O. Box 591, Westbrook, CT 06498. To make a donation by credit card, call 1-888-FOR-TEAM (1-888-367-8326) or go to the DONATE tab on this website.

Shop on Amazon:

Just by shopping on Amazon, as you may already do, a portion of your purchase price can be donated to TEAM. Begin your shopping at smile.amazon.com and select Tait’s Every Animal Matters as your charity of choice, or simply click this link. At no additional cost to you, Amazon will donate 0.5% of your purchase price to us.

Host a Fundraiser:

Tag sales, bake sales, walk-a-thons, runs, happy hours…the ideas for a special event to benefit TEAM in your community are endless and fun, too.

Post Flyers:

Spread the word about our spay/neuter program. The laundromat, grocery store, post office, YMCA, town hall, or library often has a community board where you can post a TEAM flyer. Email office@everyanimalmatters.org and we will send you copies to distribute.

Use Facebook:

Every time you like or share a TEAM Facebook post, you are telling friends about us and calling Facebook’s attention to our mission as well. Sharing our posts in your community’s Facebook group is also an easy way to share TEAM with your neighbors. For your birthday, consider hosting a Facebook fundraiser to benefit TEAM. You can also donate directly though our Facebook page here.

Matching Gifts:

Your employer may already have a matching gifts program in place. Inquire with your supervisor to see if this option is available. If so, your gift, once matched, will help us twice. Many employers encourage fundraising for local businesses that benefit the community – and TEAM benefits Connecticut cats statewide.

GoFundMe:

Set up a GoFundMe page to help raise funds for a particular item, like grocery store or gas station gift cards, or use it simply as a platform for your friends and family to use to safely donate through. Learn more about fundraising for a charity here.

Donate in Honor or in Memory of Someone Special:

Donate to TEAM for the person who has everything, or make one in memory of special animal lover. We will create a personalized certificate to acknowledge your thoughtfulness.

Purchase a Gift Card:

For basic supplies, we shop at Big Y, Shop Rite, Stop & Shop, Staples, and Walmart; and we fill up at Exxon or Mobile every day. Visa gift cards are also handy and helpful to us!

Sponsor a Spay or Neuter:

A gift certificate for one of our services is a great way to welcome a new kitten or help a cat in need.
